Who Should Apply?
This program is designed for mid-to-senior level nurses, faculty, and healthcare professionals committed to advancing planetary health, equity, and systems-level change. It is ideal for:
- Clinical, academic, and administrative healthcare professionals looking to strengthen their leadership at the intersection of health and climate
- Faculty and educators translating planetary health research into institutional and community impact
- Public health and global health professionals working to address health inequities and environmental disruption
- Healthcare leaders seeking to advance policy, partnerships, and systems change within their institutions or regions
No prior background in planetary health or climate science is required. Participants should have professional experience working within a health system, institution, or community where they can apply their capstone leadership work.

Tuition & Payment
Tuition covers all coursework, capstone guidance, peer collaboration, and access to the online platform and program materials.
Full Tuition: $3,000 USD
Early Bird Tuition: $2,700 USD — Apply by July 1 and save 10%.
Refund Policy: Refunds are available for withdrawals made within the designated window following enrollment. All refund requests must be submitted in writing. Full details will be provided upon acceptance.
To apply, you will need to submit the following through the online application portal:
- Completed online application form
- Short answer questions, including:
- Why are you interested in this program?
- Describe a leadership challenge in your professional or institutional context that you plan to address through your capstone project.
- CV or résumé (maximum three pages)
Participants must have a high proficiency in English in order to engage with written and recorded materials, complete assignments, and participate in live discussions. Test scores are not required.
There is no application fee.
To ensure a high-quality, collaborative experience, enrollment is limited each session.
To participate fully in the program, you will need reliable access to:
- A computer, laptop, or tablet capable of playing audio and video
- A stable internet connection
- A webcam and microphone for live virtual sessions
- Standard productivity software (e.g., word processing and presentation tools)
Equipment and software are the responsibility of the participant and will not be provided by Yale University.
