Professor Susan L. Prescott, MD, PhD is the inaugural Artist-in-Residence at the Yale School of Nursing. Dr. Prescott is a world-renowned pediatrician, immunologist, and global leader in planetary health whose work transcends traditional boundaries.

During her residency, Dr. Prescott uses her artistry to frame planetary health as an interconnected whole—where ecological, social, and spiritual systems meet. Her paintings and creative workshops serve as a catalyst for “Project Earthrise,” inviting our community to reimagine a world rooted in reciprocity and flourishing.
